Jeff is a seasoned commercial finance attorney. He has represented commercial finance institutions and banks for more than 35 years in negotiation and transactional work on new transactions including asset based and cash flow financing as well as equipment leasing. He has represented lenders provide financing to mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, real estate aircraft leasing, accounts receivable financing and working capital financing as well as other areas. He has represented both investors, lenders and sellers of distressed loans and portfolio acquisitions. At the same time, Jeff believes that it is important to have an attorney with wide experience in work-outs of problem loans as well as bankruptcy. He has represented creditors and lenders in a wide variety of bankruptcy cases, ranging from Lee Brass Company, Enron, MCI, United Airlines, Caesars, Ed Debevic’s, Adelphia, Lyondell, GM, Tribune and many more. He has represented individual members of both formal and informal creditors committees as well as acted as counsel to Unsecured Creditors’ Committees.
Jeff is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. He also acts as the General Editor as well as an author of the IICLE Secured Transactions Handbook. He has been a frequent speaker at programs on a variety of topics relating to commercial finance and bankruptcy.
